Our guest reviewers Warren Tennant and Sam Peace (War & Peace) offer opinionated and unconventional reviews of single malt whiskies. We also love it when you send us your own comments and scotch whisky reviews.

Many whisky authors and websites refuse to review or rate malt whiskies, claiming that taste is subjective. We think they’re lazy or scared. Some malts are better than others just as some wines are better than others and some girls are bigger than others. Individual taste, preference, and prejudice are what keep reviews interesting. We make no attempt to remove them. We do want to inspire discussion and comment and give you help in choosing your next malt whisky. We don’t want to discourage you from trying everything. Finally, I must stress that we are enthusiasts – NOT experts.
